Garment Printing in 6 Techniques chosen to suit the fabric type and the job
We handle cotton, nylon, polyester and blended fabrics. The team recommends the technique that suits your fabric and your design.
The textile printing unit of Siam Fancy Group prints garments with 6 techniques: heat-transfer film print, DTG, sublimation, discharge, puff print and debossed print.
It handles cotton, nylon, polyester and blended fabrics, with the team selecting the technique to match the fabric type and the nature of the job.
You can send your own garments for printing, or have Siam Fancy Group sew the garments at the group's garment factory and print them afterward, all under a single quotation.
Printing Techniques We Offer
Each technique suits a different kind of job. The team helps you choose the one that fits your fabric and project budget.
Heat-Transfer Film Print
Printed onto film and heat-pressed onto the fabric. Sharp detail, gradients possible, and it adheres to almost any fabric type. Suited to multi-color designs in small quantities.
DTG (Direct to Garment)
Prints directly onto the fabric, giving a soft hand feel as if there were no print. Suited to photographic or highly detailed designs on cotton.
Sublimation
On polyester fabric with a suitable process, heat drives the dye into the fibers instead of coating the surface, so the print has no thickness and resists peeling well. Suited to sportswear and running shirts.
Discharge
Removes the original fabric color and replaces it with the color of the design, giving a very soft hand feel. Suited to dark cotton fabric where a natural look is wanted.
Puff Print
The ink expands up from the fabric surface, giving a raised, tactile effect. Suited to logos and streetwear.
Debossed Print
The design sinks into the fabric, giving a clean, refined look. Suited to fashion brands and understated designs.

FAQ: Textile Printing
Why does a printed shirt crack after only a few washes?
Most often the technique does not match the fabric type, or low-quality ink was used, for example a technique where the print sits on the fabric surface for a garment that is washed often. The team reviews the fabric type and intended use first, then recommends the most suitable technique and ink.
Which technique suits polyester fabric?
Sublimation is the most suitable, because the dye goes into the fibers instead of coating the surface. The print has almost no thickness and resists peeling well, which is why it is widely used for sportswear and running shirts. For sharp designs on blended fabric, heat-transfer film print may be used instead.
Can the print feel soft and thin?
Yes. DTG and discharge give a soft hand feel closest to the original fabric. Sublimation leaves almost no feel of the print at all, but it works mainly on polyester fabric.
Do you accept small quantities?
Heat-transfer film print and DTG suit smaller quantities well, while jobs that need screens become more economical at higher quantities. Send the quantity and design you have in mind, and the team will propose the most cost-effective technique.
What artwork files give a sharp result?
Vector files (AI, PDF, SVG) give the sharpest result. Image files should be high resolution with a transparent background. The team checks every file before printing.
