Frequently Asked Questions
If you cannot find the answer you need, please contact our team through the channels on the Contact Us page.
The minimum order quantity (MOQ) at Siam Fancy Group is 250 pcs per style. Fabric that must be woven to a custom pattern requires machine set-up and re-threading for each pattern, so weaving has a separate minimum.
Ordering has 5 steps: consultation and quotation → pattern making and sample → customer sample approval → production with QC → packing and delivery.
In full-package OEM, Siam Fancy Group sources or weaves the fabric. In CMT (Cut-Make-Trim), the customer supplies the fabric, and the factory inspects it for defects, counts it, cuts and sews, and carries out QC.
Getting Started with Production
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
The minimum order at Siam Fancy Group is 250 pcs per style. Fabric that must be woven to a custom pattern has a separate weaving minimum, because weaving requires machine set-up and re-threading for each pattern. Tell us the product and quantity you need, and our team will always assess it first.
What are the steps in placing a production order?
Production with Siam Fancy Group has 5 steps: (1) consultation and quotation, (2) pattern making and sample, (3) customer sample approval, (4) production with QC, (5) packing and delivery on schedule.
Getting started as a new brand
Contact our team. We give initial advice before production, from choosing the product type and the fabric that suits your customer group, to the quantity to start with and how to structure costs so the product can actually sell.
Can I get a sample before full production?
Yes, and we recommend it every time. A sample lets you see the fit, fabric, colour and actual printing before committing to a full lot, which reduces the risk of results that do not match your expectations.
Service Models and Pricing
What is the difference between OEM and CMT?
In full-package OEM, the factory (for example, Siam Fancy Group) sources or weaves the fabric, cuts and sews, carries out QC, packs and delivers. It suits new brands that do not yet have a fabric supplier. In CMT (Cut-Make-Trim), the customer supplies the fabric, and we inspect it for defects, count it, cut and sew, and carry out QC. It suits customers who already have a fabric source.
How is pricing calculated?
Price depends on the type and amount of fabric, the complexity of the design, the production quantity, and finishing such as printing or embroidery. Once the design and quantity are confirmed, our team issues a quotation with an itemised breakdown.
Do you take rush orders?
Rush orders are considered case by case. It depends on the production schedule at the time and whether new fabric must be woven. Give us your required delivery date at the start, and our team will tell you plainly whether it can be met.
Quality and Delivery
How is quality inspected?
There are 3 main inspection points: fabric defect inspection before cutting, inspection on the sewing line, and a final re-inspection before packing, so that every piece in the same lot meets the same standard.
How is delivery arranged?
Goods are packed according to the agreed quantity and format. They can be collected from the factory in Om Noi, Samut Sakhon, or we can deliver them to a destination you specify.

Can I place an order if I do not have a pattern yet?
Yes. If you already have a pattern, we can produce to it right away. If not, the factory makes the pattern and a sample for your review before full production. This suits both new brands and established brands expanding their range.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Siam Fancy Group's minimum order is 250 pcs per style. Send the product type, style and fabric you need, and the team will assess it first. Fabric that must be made in a custom pattern has its own separate minimum for the fabric run. Contact us with the pattern and quantity you have in mind.
I already have fabric. Can you do the sewing only?
Yes. This is our CMT service: you send the fabric, we inspect it for defects and count it, then cut and sew to your pattern with QC, and pack and return the finished goods.
How long does production take?
It depends on the quantity, the complexity of the style, and whether new fabric has to be made. Once the style is finalized and the sample is approved, the team states a firm delivery date in the quotation.
Do you make products other than garments?
Yes. Besides garments and uniforms, we also produce tote bags, bedding (egg-crate foam toppers, body pillows), tablecloths, curtains, UV arm sleeves, and fabric shoes and slippers.
FAQ: Knitting & Weaving Mill

How does jacquard fabric differ from printed fabric?
In the jacquard fabric Siam Fancy Group produces, the pattern is formed in the cloth during production, so the pattern is part of the fabric structure, not a layer of ink on the surface. There is no ink layer to peel or crack as with printed fabric and screen printing. Color and fabric durability still depend on the yarn, the dyeing and how the fabric is cared for.
How does solid fabric differ from jacquard fabric?
Solid fabric is plain single-color fabric that any ordinary mill can make. Jacquard fabric has the pattern in the cloth itself, created by pattern layout during production, and it needs specific machines and operators who know how to set them up. The fabric has a higher-value appearance even though the same yarn count is used.
Can I order a pattern exclusive to my brand?
Yes. Send a pattern file or a fabric sample. The team checks whether it can be produced, adjusts it to the machine, and makes a fabric sample for your review before full production.
How much detail can be specified for stripe fabric?
You can specify the thickness of the stripe lines, the color sequence, the width of each stripe, and the base fabric. Because the fabric is yarn-dyed, stripe colors are sharp and less prone to bleeding than fabric dyed solid and then printed with stripes.
What is the minimum order for made-to-spec fabric?
Made-to-spec fabric has a higher minimum than ready-to-cut fabric, because the machine must be set up and re-threaded for each pattern. Send the pattern and quantity you need, and the team will assess it.
Can the fabric go straight to sewing after production?
Yes. The knitting and weaving mill and the garment factory belong to the same group, so finished fabric goes straight onto the sewing line. It is covered by a single quotation, with no need to coordinate multiple factories.
FAQ: Textile Printing

Why does a printed shirt crack after only a few washes?
Most often the technique does not match the fabric type, or low-quality ink was used, for example a technique where the print sits on the fabric surface for a garment that is washed often. The team reviews the fabric type and intended use first, then recommends the most suitable technique and ink.
Which technique suits polyester fabric?
Sublimation is the most suitable, because the dye goes into the fibers instead of coating the surface. The print has almost no thickness and resists peeling well, which is why it is widely used for sportswear and running shirts. For sharp designs on blended fabric, heat-transfer film print may be used instead.
Can the print feel soft and thin?
Yes. DTG and discharge give a soft hand feel closest to the original fabric. Sublimation leaves almost no feel of the print at all, but it works mainly on polyester fabric.
Do you accept small quantities?
Heat-transfer film print and DTG suit smaller quantities well, while jobs that need screens become more economical at higher quantities. Send the quantity and design you have in mind, and the team will propose the most cost-effective technique.
What artwork files give a sharp result?
Vector files (AI, PDF, SVG) give the sharpest result. Image files should be high resolution with a transparent background. The team checks every file before printing.
